Jake, the Active ambassador trainer was knowledgeable, committed and enthusiastic. The children came away from the day knowing exactly what was required of them going forward due to the staff.

There is nothing that I would change about the course.’

The staff were fantastic. They exceeded expectations in terms of their attitude and willingness to help our students and we were extremely impressed.’

‘I feel like I have learned so much today about what it takes to be a leader and how important it is to be a role model for the younger children, I have loved every minute of, and it was my best day at school ever!’

There will be many benefits for those children who took part including the development of their leadership skills, confidence and ability to communicate with people of a range of ages.

For me the main strength was the energy that Jake Duxbury delivered the session with and maintained right throughout the day.  This is not an easy thing to do, and it allowed the children to stay engaged and enjoy the day even more. In addition, the content delivered was perfect for the age range and always made it clear for the children.’

The whole award and day were fantastic. From start to finish the children and I were engaged, interested, and learned a great deal. I particularly liked the way that the whole day revolved around the Key values of an active ambassador and how every activity and part of the day related to at least one of them.’

The process was amazing from start to finish. The support they offer throughout the entire process is fantastic and makes the day run smooth, allowing the children to have a fulfilling day’.

It will aid in having ALL children more physically active throughout the school day whilst giving the active ambassadors a chance to improve their leadership skill – a skill for life. In addition, it takes pressure off me as the PE lead and to other members of staff to deliver extra-curricular sessions. it will improve us massively with numerous areas such as behaviour, attendance, participation and increasing physical activity further.’
